Youth Homelessness Initiative
YHDP Initiatives - Morgan County/ Logan County
We offer two housing programs, Rapid Re-Housing and Transitional Housing that cover the Eastern region of Colorado. Through both we provide supportive services to help our participants succeed. In addition to securing stable housing, we connect participants to mental health services, provide life skills training such as budgeting, cooking, and time management, and assist with employment readiness, including resume building and job search support. We also help participants access education resources, transportation, and other community services to support their long-term stability.
The longest it has taken us to place someone in housing has been about three months, and the quickest turnaround has been just one week. Our team works closely with each participant, offering consistent, hands-on support every step of the way. In less than a year, we have housed 13 of the 14 participants in our YHDP program. Four are currently employed, two are working toward their GED, and the others are actively searching for jobs.
