As part of our basic needs support for YHDP participants, we help ensure they have the essentials required for day-to-day stability. This can include assistance with food, hygiene items, and household supplies, especially when they are first moving into housing. We also provide moving assistance when needed, helping participants with transportation and setup during their transition. Additionally, we help with transportation needs, such as bus passes or gas assistance, so participants can get to work, school, or appointments. When needed, we provide support with obtaining important documents like IDs or birth certificates to remove barriers to employment and housing. Our goal is to make sure participants have a solid foundation so they can focus on building long-term stability.
