Summer Blast
Our summer program at eight neighborhood sites throughout the community for children ages 6-11. Free breakfast and lunch to kids!
STEMventures
Bringing hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to kids through exciting camps!
Food & Community
KATB takes food into the neighborhoods of greatest need, encouraging people to choose what they enjoy.
Leadership, College, and Career
This program helps young people prepare for what comes next; college, careers, and leadership. This program runs during the Fall, Spring, and Summer Terms.
AmeriCorps
Teens and young adults (typically ages 17 and up) can join AmeriCorps through KATB to serve in areas like education, mental health, and nutrition.
Jobs 101
A free Udemy course, “Jobs 101,” teaches the basics of finding, applying for, and starting your first job.
What is Kids At Their Best?
Kids At Their Best is a self-sustaining leadership program that opens up a path out of poverty to college and career. Leadership begins with the littlest kids, and as the children grow and learn, they inspire and teach the younger ones. Our 600+ kids speak 26 unique languages, reflecting the changing community of Colorado’s Eastern Plains. Share our Strength named KATB a national model for community engagement and youth leadership.
